Tested and approved
This idea is fundamental in the development of every product and service. The quality is designed and tested for years of intensive utilisation. Thanks to its own market research, Blum has a clear idea on how kitchens are used across the world, and what furniture makers and producers expect of furniture fittings. This provides the perfect foundation for their development. All products then undergo tough tests, relating to motion and load, corrosion and materials, in the in-house test centre. Only products that pass these intensive tests are launched on the global market. “In total, drawer systems, doors or stay lifts in the kitchen are opened and closed more than 80 times a day,” says Blum. “After 20 years of intensive use, this activity mounts up. And that's why the tests on for example our hinge systems consider in excess of 200,000 opening and closing actions.”
Lifetime warranty
Thanks to these many efforts when designing and developing new products, they can be sure that Blum products will last the entire life of the furniture item.
