As you know, we attach great importance to the service we provide to our customers and are always looking for opportunities to improve it. Based on our own experiences and the feedback we received from customers, we thought it was time to take a closer look at our logistics in general, and our transport partners in particular.

In order to best meet the current and future challenges in this area, we joined forces with two new partners on 2 March. DHL and VRD then took over the deliveries from GLS. For everyone delivered by our own services today, nothing will change and deliveries will continue as you are used to from us.

We consciously chose strong partners with strong local roots and high performance in their field. Moreover, the cooperation with these new transport companies gives us the opportunity to respond more quickly to new situations and technological developments.

What will you notice?

First of all, you will of course have another company and a new driver at your doorstep with your deliveries from Van Hoecke. Both companies work with recognisable trucks and drivers. Because they drive their own routes, they may visit you at a different time than you are used to. Moreover, DHL mainly and VRD only work with their own drivers. Because of this we can count on a better contact and a higher personal involvement with the drivers. In this way VRD guarantees us that pallets will never be stacked on top of each other, which greatly reduces the chance of damage during transport.

We expect that you will be able to count on better delivery performance and short lines of communication in both companies will ensure a more efficient follow-up in case of questions or problems. The cooperation with the new transporters will also give us the opportunity to respond more quickly to new situations and technological developments.
